DACH: Sciences Po's German Speaking Society

About Us

DACH aims to become Sciences Po Reims’ community for students interested in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the wider German-speaking world. We want to bring together students of all nationalities through events in German, English, and French, while creating a space for cultural exchange, discussion, and Franco-German and European engagement. Our plans range from informal Stammtisch evenings and events with other student associations to speaker discussions and trips to cities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Above all, we hope to build a welcoming community where students can meet, exchange perspectives, and discover the DACH region together. Events

Speaker Series

Our Speaker Series elevates discourse with leaders across german-french relations, be it from policy, industry, and the arts. These are intimate engagements designed for genuine intellectual exchange and network building.

City Trips

Our City Trips take members beyond Reims to discover Germany's cities, institutions, culture, and business landscape. From Berlin and Munich to Cologne and beyond, these trips combine cultural visits, networking opportunities, and time to experience each city together.

Parties

Our parties bring together students from different associations and nationalities on campus for a more informal side of our community. Expect evenings (and nights) celebrating German, European, and international music, designed to meet new people, strengthen friendships, and connect cultures beyond the classroom.
